We loved their last campaign, as you can see in the video below with (Satine Phoenix and Jamison Stone of Apotheosis Studios) and we are super excited about this new project, as well!

Noble Dwarf is the latest endeavor by Mark Reed, an Army Veteran with a love of printing. Mark was inspired to return to gaming after a friend turned him onto Critical Role, a show where a bunch of Voice Actors play D&D. Realizing that there was a way to combine his love of printing cool designs and his love of gaming Mark set about creating Noble Dwarf, with the goal of allowing people to print their own images for custom campaign shirts and prop materials. This has morphed into full 3D printing and prop making, all the way to factory-run toys. Check out their latest Kickstarter project HERE

The Lights of Winthrop Manor 5E

Something calls to you from within the shuttered manor. A harrowing tale from the Dreadlands.

In the Month of the Spirits, on the 13th evening of Yagän, nine hapless individuals accept an invitation to dine at Winthrop Manor. The decision will haunt them for the rest of their lives, short as they might be.

The Lights of Winthrop Manor is an immersive level-0, self-contained adventure experience for 5e. Inside you'll find everything you need to thoroughly terrorize your party and give your players a night that they'll not soon forget. At the base level, this includes:

  • An introductory 1-shot adventure set in the new setting, The Dreadlands.
  • Detailed maps for a complex manor by Morvold Press.
  • (8) new dreadful monsters.
  • New horror-themed Backgrounds & Lineages.
  • (9) pre-generated character sheets.

The Dreadlands are a foul place, riddled with maladies, cults, and all manner of unwholesome denizens; the manor is simply par for the course. This zine kicks off our new setting while, at the same time, acting as an ideal 1-shot for those groups interested in delving into the darker elements of fantasy. More reminiscent of Call of Cthulhu than typical D&D, Winthrop Manor relies heavily on themes of madness and horror. Players will assume the role of 1 or more of the 9 pre-generated characters, each based on new backgrounds and lineages from our upcoming Dreadlands: The Horrors of Glynn campaign setting. The player characters will need to use a special puzzle box to rotate the rooms of the house in order to try and avoid the Keeper and escape with their lives, if not their sanity.

IRON KINGDOMS: REQUIEM *5e*

Forge your legacy in the award-winning setting of the Iron Kingdoms with the celebrated 5th edition roleplaying game rules.

We here at Apotheosis Studios know to show our love to the great creators we rub shoulders with every day. We're doing our own work in the world of unique settings for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, but by no means are we alone in that big wide world.

The fine people at Privateer Press have sunk their hearts and souls into their latest Kickstarter, to glowing success. Funded in 73 minutes, their ambitious Iron Kingdoms campaign setting has just a few short days to go, and near all of its stretch goals met. There's much to be excited about in this gritty steampunk vision.

Privateer Press has been a mainstay in tabletop gaming since they started in 2000. They’ve hit their personal motto of “producing the best games possible" They’ve achieved this in many strides, with their Warcaster and Warmachine miniatures games, and the numerous board games.

The height of their work comes in their world of magic and technology. For the first time, their setting Iron Kingdoms: Requiem is available for Fifth Edition. We can trust seasoned veterans of tabletop gaming to know how to handle their world in the most played roleplaying system right now, but what can we expect from this beloved and quickly backed Kickstarter project?
